Sovern Barter will publish carbon per delivery alongside cost and transit time for every route it quotes. Clients will see the trade off at the point of decision rather than in a report at the end of the year.
The change follows a year of route level measurement across the network, and supports the group's commitment under Sovern for Environment Protection and Sustainability.
Targets and progress will be reviewed annually and reported to the board with the rest of the program.
