We believe that putting sustainable development at the centre of an economic strategy unlocks a step change in growth and productivity, with investment in sustainable infrastructure and education as the critical drivers. The goals cannot be reached without the private sector, because the private sector is where most of the work and most of the capital sits.
Using the Sustainable Development Goals as a United Nations endorsed framework, we have mapped the social and environmental effects of our businesses and built a plan to cut cost and risk while increasing positive contribution. We are proud to operate as an SDG friendly corporation.

We use external indices where they exist, including the Global Peace Index and the Rule of Law Index, so our benchmarks are set outside the company.

Findings feed into investment decisions, operating targets, and the annual plan for each program.
